Getting away from your computer, TV or phone screen can be hard, especially as a college student. Bowling Green State University (BGSU) offers many recreational activities around campus to help students engage in non-screen-related hobbies and to allow participants to branch out in the community.
Aqua Zumba
Aqua Zumba classes are offered on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in the Cooper Pool at the BGSU Student Recreation Center. Zumba is good for your physical and mental well-being, and can positively impact one’s brain function. These are low-impact movement sessions to help reduce stress and boost your mood. All sessions are free for BGSU students, faculty and staff.

Puzzles at the RAD
Celebrate National Puzzle Day by taking part in the peaceful activity at McLeod Hall, Room 314. The event, put on by BGSU’s Life Design, allows students to join a welcoming atmosphere and take a break from their busy schedule. Students can also personalize their own puzzle to take home with them. This event will be taking place on Thursday, Jan. 29, at noon.
