For the second time in a week, Bowling Green State University students will have their morning in-person classes canceled.
The university announced Thursday evening that all in-person classes until 12:30 p.m. will be canceled. All online and remote classes, along with classes starting at or after 12:30 p.m., will continue as scheduled.
In an email to students, BGSU cited “the predicted subzero temperatures expected tonight and tomorrow morning, along with other weather-related factors” as the reason for the cancellation. The National Weather Service in Cleveland is forecasting a high of 11 degrees and wind chills as low as minus 2 degrees for Friday.
University operations other than classes — including dining halls, residence halls, administrative offices, the Student Recreation Center and other nonacademic buildings — will remain open, according to the university.
