  • They Both Die at the End – General Review
Summer break is the perfect opportunity to get back into reading. Adam Silvera’s (2017) novel, They Both Die at the End, can serve as a stepping stone into the realm of reading. Bowling Green women’s soccer traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Sunday to take on the nationally-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers.

Brynn Gardner was back in the starting line-up for Bowling Green after missing the previous contest against Detroit Mercy.

Ashton Gordon struck first for Pittsburgh just twelve minutes into the match. The score would remain 1-0 until early in the second half when Sarah Schupansky and Keera Melenhorst would score goals within three minutes of one another to make it a 3-o Pittsburgh lead.

Freshman, Emma Stransky scored her first collegiate goal in the sixtieth minute of the match on assists from Katie Cox and Maya Dean.

Amanda West added to the Pittsburgh scoring effort to make it a 4-1 score before Sarah Schupansky scored a goal in the final minute of play to bring the game to a 5-1 final score.

Madison Vukas, a former Pittsburgh Panther, had six saves in her 45 minutes in goal for the Falcons, allowing only one goal.

Next up for Bowling Green will be another nationally-ranked opponent as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish head to Cochrane Stadium for a match on Sunday, September 10. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. EST and the match can be viewed on ESPN+.
