Bowling Green gets an addition to the coaching staff in former Indiana Wesleyan goalkeeper and Old Dominion assistant coach Hope Stacker.
Stacker has spent the previous two seasons with the Monarchs as an assistant coach, helping guide Old Dominion goalkeeper Emily Bredak to the SBC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2024.
During her time on the pitch, Stacker was a three-time NAIA All-American and earned All-Crossroads League First-Team on three different occasions. She currently holds the Indiana Wesleyan record-low 0.879 GAA and 16 clean sheets.
In every season Stacker was in goal, Indiana Wesleyan secured a second-round appearance in the NAIA National Championships.
In her senior season, Stacker suffered an ACL injury and missed a portion of the season. In her absence on the pitch, she began her coaching career helping guide freshman Avery Sluss, who would record 10 clean sheets.
“Hope is also an outstanding goalkeeper coach whose attention to detail and passion for the position will elevate our goalkeeper union. I have no doubt Hope will make a meaningful impact on our program moving forward,” head coach Chris Fox said.
Stacker joins the staff before the program begins its spring league, as the Falcons will be competing in the Michigan Spring Cup from March 21 to April 12.
