On an eventful day in the NCAA women’s soccer offseason, BGSU women’s soccer announced three new Falcons who will be joining head coach Chris Fox’s squad for the 2026 season.
Lexi Grundler: GK – Michigan State
The Falcons’ first arrival from the transfer portal came from up north, as goalkeeper Lexi Grundler joins the squad after finishing her sophomore season with Michigan State. The Brentwood, Tennessee native didn’t see minutes in her first two collegiate seasons with the Spartans after an illustrious youth career with Tennessee SC ECNL.
Natalie Hoover: F – Iowa State
Hoover, a member of the 2025 recruiting class, heads to Bowling Green after sitting out her freshman year at Iowa State. A graduate of Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio, Hoover played her club soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL and was recruited to Iowa State by current head coach Matt Fannon, who was a three-time Mid-American Conference (MAC) Coach of the Year with Bowling Green from 2017-2019, winning the MAC championship two of the three years with the program.
Olivia McCuen: F – Pickerington North HS
The All-Ohio Player of the Year will join Bowling Green as a true freshman after breaking records at Pickerington North High School in Columbus, Ohio, earning the program high in career goals, assists, and total points.
McCuen played her club soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL, and she became the fourth signee in the 2025 BGSU women’s soccer recruiting class, joining Sophie Khelashvili, Tatum Mailander, and Hailey Trzaska, who were announced as members of the program on National Signing Day.
