  • They Both Die at the End – General Review
Summer break is the perfect opportunity to get back into reading. Adam Silvera’s (2017) novel, They Both Die at the End, can serve as a stepping stone into the realm of reading. The pace is fast, action-packed, and develops loveable characters. Also, Silvera switches point of view each chapter where narration mainly focuses on the protagonists, […]
  • My Favorite Book – Freshwater
If there’s one book that I believe everyone should read once in their life, it’s my favorite book – Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi. From my course, Queer Literature under Dr. Bill Albertini, I discovered Emezi’s Freshwater (2018). Once more, my course, Creative Writing Thesis Workshop under Professor Amorak Huey, was instructed to present our favorite […]

BGSU Women’s Soccer honors it’s 2023 Seniors before their home match against Western Michigan

Bowling Green women’s soccer celebrated it’s seniors on Sunday prior to their match against the Western Michigan Broncos.

Lili Berg, Lacee Bethea, Rylee Clark, Katie Cox, Lexi Czerwien, Maya Dean, Emilie Gardner, Makenzie Ortman, Ellie Pool, and Emma Richardson were all honored during a pregame ceremony.

Both Bowling Green and Western Michigan were picked to finish in the top four in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) preseason poll.

Bowling Green was able to come out and control a majority of the first half but the match remained scoreless at the break.

The second half was almost exactly the opposite with Western Michigan controlling the majority of the possession, but neither team had many quality looks and no goals were scored. The final stat line would show three shots on goal for Bowling Green and just one for Western Michigan.

With both teams registering a win on Thursday and the draw on Sunday, both the Falcons and the Broncos remained unbeaten in conference play. Next up for Bowling Green will be the Akron Zips at home on Thursday, September 28, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST and can be seen on ESPN+.
