For the second week in a row and the third week in total, Cole Moore has been named the CCHA Goaltender of the Week.

Moore played his first game of the week Friday when he was subbed in for Christian Stoever early in the second period. He finished that game with 32 saves, no goals allowed, and a perfect 4/4 in shootout stops.

He followed up that outstanding performance with 30 saves in a 3-1 BG win. He stopped 62/63 total shots and took a win and an overtime win on the weekend.

In front of Moore, BG freshman Ben Doran earned his first weekly honors of his career in the CCHA Rookie of the Week. Doran had three points in the two days on one goal and two assists, also bagging the winning shootout goal in BG’s fourth try on Friday.

Bowling Green has six players who have won weekly honors, Doran joining Moore, Stoever, Quinn Emerson, Brody Waters, and Michael Bevilacqua. For the team, this is the second of the last three weeks in which two players in orange and brown have been recognized.
