Former Arizona State freshman guard Braelon Green has announced he is transferring to Bowling Green.

Green marks the first addition for head coach Todd Simon and the Falcons this offseason.

Green played in 25 games for the Sun Devils last season, averaging 5.5 minutes, 0.9 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.

The 6-foot-3-inch guard shot 30.8% (8-26) from the field and 44.4% (4-9) on three-pointers last season.

The Southfield, Michigan, native can play either backcourt position and is known for his combination of athleticism and skill.

ESPN rated Green as a four-star prospect and the second-best overall player in Michigan out of high school.
