BGSU men’s basketball announced that they will participate in the Sketchers Tip-Off Tournament in Fort Myers, Fla., taking place on Nov. 24 and 26.
Bowling Green will join Bucknell, Virginia Military Institute, and Buffalo as part of the Palms division in the tournament.
For the Orange and Brown, this will be the second time they have appeared in the tournament, with their first appearance during the 2021-22 season. The Falcons also became the first team to make a second appearance since the tournament’s inception in 2018.
The Falcons made it to the championship game in 2021, where they would eventually fall to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds, coached by current head coach Todd Simon at the time.
For Bowling Green, this will be the first time that they have a chance to match up against Bucknell and Virginia Military Institute.
Last season saw the Miami RedHawks take home the Palms division title with a three-point win over the Mercer Bears.
The Falcons start the 2025-26 season at the Stroh Center against Texas State on Monday, Nov. 3, in the first edition of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
