BGSU hockey first-year centerman Noah Morneau was named November’s Rookie of the Month by the CCHA. The forward joined the Falcons for the 2025-26 season, with fellow freshman Dominik Rymon and senior Quinn Emerson combining for Bowling Green’s top scoring line.
Morneau led all CCHA freshmen in goals (six), points (nine), and faceoff winning percentage (60.5%) through November. His best games were in the Ferris State series, where the Falcon nailed four goals and two assists, marking the first hat trick by a Falcon rookie since 2012.
He additionally led all freshmen nationally in the faceoff circles, also listing third in goals and fifth in points among all first-year skaters. The Windsor, Ontario native has not only contributed offensively but shown great versatility, a staple on penalty kills and late-game units through a 5-2-3 BG record this month.
Morneau’s line of himself, Rymon, and Emerson has been stellar in November, currently the top three scorers on the team. Their 40 points combine for 30% of BG’s points, 34% of goals, and 27% of assists, as just 14% of BG’s point scorers this season.
He and the Falcons get set for their final CCHA competitions of 2025 in the Slater Family Ice Arena against Northern Michigan, puck drop set for 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. Saturday. Both games will be broadcast on WBGU 88.1 FM.
