BGSU volleyball landed two transfer additions in the 2025-26 transfer window, announcing both players on X on Monday afternoon.
Head coach Alex DelPiombo brings in two players the Falcons played against in the 2025 regular season, one from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and one from non-conference play.
Beatty comes to the Falcons from Central Michigan following a 46-set-played freshman season. The 5-foot-10 setter backed up junior setter Keelyn Muell, who finished seventh of 11 starting MAC setters in assists (789) and is returning to the Chippewas.
Playing just 16 sets in MAC play, Beatty had just one match of double-digit assists, her only as the starting setter. She played significantly in non-conference, setting in nine matches and recording 168 of her 204 total assists. Her season-stat line also included one kill, five aces, 44 digs and seven blocking assists.
The Indianapolis, Indiana native comes to the Falcons on the heels of two-season Falcon setter Anna Sitek, who entered the transfer portal. BG also has a First Team All-MAC setter in Amanda Otten, entering her senior season in the fall of 2026.
The Falcons played the Chippewas once last season and won in three sets. Beatty did not play that match.
Molnau also played her freshman season in 2025, but in the Atlantic-10. With Loyola Chicago last year, she nailed down 256 kills on a .216 hitting percentage and earned a spot on the Atlantic-10 All-Rookie Team.
From Brookfield, Wisconsin, Molnau demonstrated solid versatility, recording 53 digs and 54 total blocks across 111 sets as a Rambler. Molnau came to Loyola Chicago as an outside hitter and middle blocker, playing mainly on the right side last season.
According to the X post, Molnau’s position is outside hitter, joining a group of six returning pin hitters and two freshmen in the same position. Against BG on September 13, she played all four sets, scoring 13 kills on 27 attempts, four digs and three total blocks.
BG heads into the second season of DelPiombo and her coaching staff following a 17-15 finish and the sixth seed in the MAC Tournament. The team suffers the loss of three seniors, gaining two transfers and three freshmen recruits.
