Cold temperatures and icy conditions are expected to move into the Bowling Green State University (BGSU) area.
According to the National Weather Service, Friday is expected to be partly sunny and cold, with a high of 10 degrees Fahrenheit (F), wind chill values as low as negative 9 F and west winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour (mph). Friday night is going to be partly cloudy with a low of negative 5 F with northwest wind at 3 to 7 mph.
Saturday is going to be partly sunny and cold with a high of 9 F, while the evening forecast calls for snow likely mainly after 1 a.m. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with a low of 5 F. On Sunday, there is likely to be snow after 1 p.m. with temperatures around 16 F. At night, it will be cloudy with a low of four F, according to the National Weather Service.
The frigid conditions also increase the risk of cold-related illnesses, particularly for those spending extended time outdoors, like frostnip, frostbite, trench foot, chilblains, eye pain or vision and hypothermia. To counter these illness do not stay out in the cold for too long and find a warm place to stay.
