The Bowling Green Police Department (BGPD_ announced the launch of a public platform aimed at gathering community feedback as part of its annual assessment by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement (CALEA).

This initiative supports the BGPD in maintaining its international accreditation.

The platform is designed to collect input on BGPD’s compliance with CALEA standards, its community engagement efforts, the quality of public safety services provided and its overall qualifications for re-accreditation.

Community members are encouraged to share their experiences, including both positive feedback and any concerns they may have.

The BGPD would also like to note to readers that CALEA is not an investigative body, and the public portal should not be used to submit information for evidence or investigation.

While each submission will receive acknowledgment, there will be no further response; however, the information provided will be considered regarding its relevance to compliance with standard CALEA accreditation principles.
