BGSU men’s basketball will seek their biggest win of the season on Friday, as they face No. 22 Miami (OH) at Millett Hall at 8:30 p.m.
Miami is the only undefeated team remaining in the country (26-0) and is the first Mid-American Conference (MAC) team to be ranked since Buffalo during the 2018-19 season.

Matchup History
Friday marks the 155th all-time meeting between the programs, with Miami holding a 93-61 lead in the series.
The RedHawks have won three straight games against Bowling Green, including a 93-83 victory on Dec. 30. Miami led the Falcons 54-28 at halftime of that win.
Scouting Bowling Green
The Falcons sit in sixth place in the MAC standings with a 16-11 overall and 7-7 conference record.
Bowling Green is coming off a 78-71 loss to Kent State on Tuesday after beating Toledo 80-70 on Saturday.
BG’s offense has been solid this season.
The Falcons shoot 48.1% from the field and score 81.9 points per game, ranking third and fourth in the MAC, respectively. However, Bowling Green has struggled shooting from deep, making just 34% of their 3-point attempts, ranking eighth in the MAC.
BGSU’s strength is its defense.
The Falcons allow only 70.5 points per game and 42.8% shooting from the floor, the second-best marks in the conference.
BGSU also swipes 10.4 steals per game and forces 15.5 turnovers per contest, ranking third and ninth in the country, respectively.
Bowling Green is an average rebounding team.
BG grabs 36.1 total rebounds and 10.3 offensive rebounds per game, ranking fifth and seventh in the MAC, respectively.
Scouting Miami
The RedHawks already have the most wins in a single season in program history, breaking the previous mark of 25 that was set last season.
Led by head coach Travis Steele, Miami is 51-9 over the past two seasons.
Miami has won 29 consecutive home games, tied with Akron for the second-longest active streak in the country, trailing only Duke (30).
The RedHawks are coming off an 86-77 win over UMass on Tuesday.
Miami’s offense is arguably the best in the country, as they lead the nation with 92.3 points per game and 53.5% shooting from the field, while ranking fourth in the country with 40.2% shooting on 3-pointers.
Miami’s defense is also very solid, as they hold opponents to 74.4 points per game, one of the best marks in the MAC. They lead the conference by holding opponents to only 32.1% shooting from deep.
Falcon Four Players to Watch
Javontae Campbell (Bowling Green No. 2)
Campbell is nearing multiple milestones and records.
The senior guard is two steals away from tying his program single-season record (90) set last season and 15 away from tying Bonzi Well’s MAC record (103) set in 1997-98 at Ball State. He is also 20 points away from 1,000 career points at Bowling Green, aiming to be the first Falcon to reach the mark since Daeqwon Plowden in 2022.
Troy Glover II (Bowling Green No. 16)
The 6-foot-10 senior forward has been a dominant force in the paint recently, tallying a block in 12 of his last 13 games.
Glover currently ranks second in the MAC with 43 blocks, four behind Central Michigan’s Nathan Claerbaut. He is also one rejection away from entering the program’s top 10 single-season leaderboard for blocks.
Peter Suder (Miami No. 5)
Suder is one of the best guards in the MAC, ranking fifth in the conference in 3-point shooting (43.3%) and eighth in assists per game (4.2).
He is averaging 20.8 points per game on 57.4% shooting over the past eight games and has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back contests.
Brant Byers (Miami No. 22)
The reigning MAC Freshman of the Year is having another elite season.
The 6-foot-8 wing is lethal from beyond the arc, ranking eighth in the MAC in 3-point percentage (41.7%) and 10th in 3-pointers made (55).
Byers scored 17 points and made three 3-pointers in Miami’s win over Bowling Green earlier in the season.
