BGSU women’s tennis (9-14, 0-10) returned home this past Friday for their season finale against the visiting Western Michigan Broncos (11-13, 2-7). Despite the hard-fought battle, the Falcons fell short at the Perrysburg Tennis Center, losing 5-2 to the Broncos.
Orange and Brown picked up two points after winning the doubles point and No.5 singles. Freshman Lucia Gaio and junior Leticia Fonseca took No.1 doubles, 6-4, while sophomore Qianyu Liu and freshman Konstantina Adamopoulou claimed victory in No. 3 doubles, 6-2, to give Bowling Green an early advantage.
Both Gaio and sophomore Tia Clemens went to three sets but fell in singles, WMU would end up securing the victory right after.

The Falcons finished the year with nine wins, despite going winless in MAC play. The Orange and Brown complete the season with a 5-6 record at home and 2-7 on the road.
