After three years at BGSU, former Falcon Brynn Gardner has decided to move on from the Orange and Brown ahead of the 2025 season, returning to the squad of former Falcon head coach Jimmy Walker, this time with the Creighton Blue Jays in Omaha, Nebraska.
Gardner earned 45 career points in her three-year stint with Bowling Green, 35 of which came in her first two seasons spent under Walker, who earned two Mid-American Conference (MAC) championships in four seasons with the Falcons.
As an All-MAC Freshman Team member in 2022 and an All-MAC First Team member in 2023, Gardner scored 14 goals and earned 14 assists in 3,564 minutes with the Orange and Brown, and her point total of 45 is ranked 16th all-time in Falcon history despite only 54 games played.
Gardner joins a Creighton squad that went 8-7-2 overall and 5-4-1 in Big East play in the first year of Walker’s stint with the Blue Jays, and she will help to fill a gap at the forward position left by the graduation of Creighton’s top three scorers in 2024, who combined for 25 of the team’s 58 points.
The Whitehouse, Ohio native becomes the fourth Falcon to transfer from Bowling Green at the conclusion of the 2024 season, joining Cassie Nagy, Alaina Uncapher, and Madison Vukas.
