The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Shuttle Service had many changes happen over the summer that are being rolled out this fall semester.

This includes a new app, new stops, a new route and more that students need to know before boarding a bus.

Students can now track the routes with the app TripShot. Students need to download the app, search for BGSU and can either create an account or continue without logging in.

Students also have the option to access the shuttle map on the BGSU app, but may experience some issues.

After tapping on a route, the app notifies the user with an error bar reading, “Sorry, a failure has occurred. Please login and try again.”

Once gaining access to TripShot, students can track the shuttles, receive alerts about delays and cancellations and can schedule their trips.

Five newly wrapped buses with bike racks are also running this year.

There is a new stop coming to the orange route. Every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the orange route will take students to Walmart.

The off-campus Brown route is a new route this year. The Brown route combines the former Blue and Green routes, which includes a Meijer stop.

The Brown route runs Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Brown route schedule goes: Centrex, Second Street and High Street, High Street and Fifth Street, High Street and Napoleon, Scott Hamilton 1, Scott Hamilton 2, Scott Hamilton 3, Clough Street and Mercer Road, Copper Beach and Meijer.

The Orange Main route runs Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

The Orange route schedule goes: Centrex, Founders Hall, Walmart only on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Main and Court Street only on Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Bowen-Thompson Student Union (BTSU), Offenhauer, Kokosing Hall, Lot M, Lot 12, Perry Field House, Wolfe Center, Kreischer Quadrangle, Stroh Center, Intramural Field, Harshman Quadrangle, Fine Arts Center and the Jerome Library and East Hall.

The Yellow Falcon Express route runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Yellow route schedule goes: Centrex, Founders, BTSU, Offenhauer, Willard and Merry, Wolfe Center, Kreischer Quadrangle, Harshman Quadrangle, Fine Arts Center and the Jerome Library and East Hall.
