Following the end of the Falcons’ 2025 soccer campaign, Bowling Green looked towards the future on Wednesday, signing three new players on National Signing Day.
The Orange and Brown were able to sign a goalkeeper, along with two forwards from the upcoming class.
Marshall Degraff – Goalkeeper
The Plainfield, Illinois, native heads to Bowling Green after a decorated high school career. Spending three years as a starter at Plainfield Central High School, Degraff was First Team All-Conference, All-Region, All-County, All-Area and All-State in the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Along with such accomplishments, the right footer was named Top IL High School GK in 2023. Plainfield Central also saw team success with Degraff in 2024, being Conference Champs, Regional Champs, and placing second in Sectionals.
The 6-foot goalkeeper has years of experience dating back to eight years old. He was also a part of the National Olympic Development Program (ODP). During his time in the National ODP, Degraff was the U-17 captain while at the International Tournament in Costa Rica.
Degraff also spent multiple seasons with the Galaxy Soccer Club IL. The team won the IL state Cup Championship in both 2022 and 2023. Also in 2022, Degraff was a National Keeper Wars semi-finalist for the U15 age group.
Joshua Pederson – Forward
The Naperville, Illinois, native has spent his four seasons of high school at Naperville North. In the 2023 season, Pederson was voted First-Team All-Conference, while the team was able to become Conference Champs, Sectional Champs, Regional Champs, and third place in State.
To finish off his high school career, Pederson and the Huskies were able to take home the IHSA boys soccer 3A State Championship in early November. In which Pederson was able to help clinch the victory with a penalty kick.
The 5-foot-8 forward hit the century mark of matches plated in high school with 101, scoring 43 goals, including 30 during his senior season. Not only being able to score, Pederson also tallied 10 assists in the 2025 campaign to notch 22 for his career.
Pederson is noted to not only be able to attack but also defend superbly. He can be used as a utility player and can dominate the entire pitch.
Luciano Alejandro Perez-Cerunda – Forward
The East Lansing, Michigan, native played for both Midwest United and Lansing City Futsal. During his time with the clubs, the 5-foot-10 forward took advantage of the elite competition.
Perez-Cerunda notched 22 goals with eight multi-goal matches during his time with Midwest United.
The dedication that Perez-Cerunda brings to the pitch is what pushes him past his competition.
