BGSU track and field traveled to Azusa, Calif. and took part in the Bryan Clay Invitational, an event that runs three days long.
In an invitational dubbed “the nation’s fastest and largest collegiate meet” Junior Kylee Cubbison broke the Bowling Green record in the 1,500 with a time of 4:19:19, landing her 24th in the event.
Also competing in the 1,500m were Freshman Reese Reaman, who had a time of 4:24:46, and Rachael Hoover, with a time of 4:24:84. Placing them at 90 and 95 respectively.
Rachael Withrow was the highest placing Falcon with a third-place finish in the 10,000m race with a time of 34:38:04. Which was also the third quickest time in program history.
Not far behind Withrow was Regina Rose who placed 10th with a time of 35:12:80.
Junior Madison Foster set a personal record in the 5,000m race with a time of 17:23:82.
Bowling Green will be represented in 13 events this weekend in the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia After that, next for the Falcons is Louisville’s Clark Wood Invitational which takes place on April 25-26.
