BGSU women’s track and field finished the Raleigh Relays with an impressive finish to the three-day meet. Saturday had 14 people competing, with two relay teams also running.
Starting the day was Kylee Cubbison in the 5000m with a time of 16:16.03 and finishing 32nd. Also running in the 5000m was Regina Rose, running a time of 16:56.98, finishing 80th but having a new personal best.
Running in the 4x100m were Erinae Coleman, Delaney Jones, Kiera Bonds, and Kiersten Franklin, placing 17th and running a time of 47.30. The 4x400m relay team consisting of Campbell, Herman, Greber, and Franklin, finished 14th with a time of 3:48.37.
Back again on the distance side is Rachel Hoover with an impressive ninth-place finish in the 800m, having a new personal best of 2:07.06. Also in the 800 were Reese Reaman and Marissa Boone with times of 2:09.61 and 2:14.98, placing 34th and 124th, respectively.
Moving on to the 400m hurdles were Alexsia Davis and Christabelle Obi, having close finishes of 45th and 47th. Their times were 1:04.41 and 1:04.49
Three Falcons competed in the 200m lead by Franklin with a time of 24.23, which placed 23rd. Campbell and Ava Bowman followed her with times of 24.94 and 26.07, which placed 56th and 137th, respectively.
Jumping over to the long jump participants, who were headlined by Bonds, who placed 10th with a jump of 5.78m. Morgan Patterson placed 27th with a jump of 5.36m, and Sabrina Imes traveled 5.31m, which placed her at 36th.
The Falcons will now continue their outdoor season, heading to the Oliver Nikoloff invite in Cincinnati on Friday and Saturday.
