After entering the transfer portal a week ago, former BGSU men’s soccer winger Jake Lane has signed with Old Dominion in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC).
Lane played two seasons with the Falcons, scoring two goals and six assists in 32 matches played. Most notably, he scored in the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championship game against Evansville while also providing an assist.
He was also named to the MVC All-Tournament Team and earned the MVC Elite 18 Award.
In his Bowling Green career, Lane made five starts while playing 1,045 minutes for the Orange and Brown.
Old Dominion finished 7-8-2 last season with a 3-5-1 record in the SBC. They lost to No. 8 Marshall in the SBC Tournament 3-2.
