BGSU women’s golf finished 10th at the National Golf Invitation (NGI) in Maricopa, Arizona, to complete their historic 2025 campaign.
This marks the first-ever postseason appearance for the Falcons, scoring a 914 (+50).
“We had a great week in Arizona. It was awesome to experience postseason for the first time in program history. I could tell we got more comfortable with those feelings throughout the event. I am so proud of the entire team for the work they have put in day in and day out to get us to this position,” said head coach Erin Fahey.
Ava O’Sullivan led the Falcons with a total score of 226 (+10), tied for 19th place with totals of 75,76,75. She was also tied for third in total birdies with 11.
Not far behind was Sammie Dolce, who tied for 22nd place with a total score of 227 (+11), scoring 76,78,73. On the final day of play, Dolce was the lowest scoring Falcon with a score of 73.
Freshman Addison Kartusch finished tied for 27th place with a 229 (+13), scoring 74,78,77.
Santa Clara would take home first place in the invitational with a team score of 886 (+22).
