BGSU women’s golf wrapped up the Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship on Tuesday afternoon at the Firestone Country Club.
The club would take home the bronze medal, with junior Sammie Dolce and sophomore Addison Kartusch placing inside the top 10. All five of BG’s athletes who competed finished inside the top 30 out of 51 total competitors.
The Falcons have also completed the year with a 100+ win season in head coach Erin Fahey’s fourth season with the team.
“I thought we played really well overall,” Fahey said. “I told them to appreciate moments like this–being in contention, competing in the final pairing–because that’s what it’s all about.”
The Orange and Brown shot 862 (+22) as a team and were led by Dolce, who shot 211 (+1) in three rounds of play.
