Salvione had a .211 batting average with four RBIs across just 11 games, one start and 19 at-bats in two seasons at Portland. He hit just 1-7 in four games and a lone start last season.
The Federal Way, Washington, native is currently hitting .304 with four doubles, a home run and 11 RBIs in 20 games for the Bend Elks in the West Coast League this summer.
