BGSU baseball picked up its second right-handed pitcher in two days with the addition of former Lansing Community College redshirt sophomore Ethan Papacek.
Papacek appeared in nine games last season for the Stars, with seven of them being in a starter role. He went 4-0 with a 3.07 ERA in 29.1 innings pitched. His best outing was a six-inning no-hitter with three walks and 10 strikeouts.
The right-hander ranked seventh nationally in JUCO with a .143 batting average against (BAA).
The 6-foot-2 Rochester, Michigan, native played high school baseball for Stoney Creek before redshirting a year at Sacred Heart in 2023. Papacek still has three years of eligibility remaining before joining the Falcons.
