The BGSU men’s cross country team concluded its conference season on Saturday, Nov. 1, traveling to Amherst, New York, to compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships at the Audubon Cross Country Course. The Falcons finished tenth in the competitive field.
Competing in crisp, 47-degree, partly sunny conditions, the team used the conference meet as a key learning experience, seeing the 8k race as an important step for their young roster.
“This was a tough day, but it’s an important step for a young group,” said Associate Head Coach Rachel Rhynard. “Every race teaches us something, and we’ll use this experience to grow and be ready for what’s ahead. Internally, we know how hard we’ve been working, and that effort will pay off as we continue to build.”
