The BGSU men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Moraine Intercollegiate this week, hosted by Miami (Ohio) at Moraine Country Club. The Falcons finished 14th with a team total of 904 (+52) over three rounds on the par-71, 6,916-yard course.
Sophomore Andrew Lee led the way for Bowling Green, carding rounds of 72–73–72 to finish tied for 44th at 217 (+4). Lee’s steady play included an eagle on the 545-yard, par-5 fourth hole during the final round.
Freshman Pedro Garcia continued his strong debut campaign, shooting 73–69–77 for a 219 (+6). His second-round 69 featured four birdies and was one of the lowest individual rounds in the field on Tuesday.
Senior Ethan Irvine (75–79–82) and junior Angelo Luciani (79–74–81) finished close behind, while freshman LT Harris rounded out the lineup at 241 (+28).
Statistically, the Falcons showed consistency on the par-5s, finishing even-par collectively across all three rounds; however, struggles on par-4s and short-game execution limited scoring chances, as Bowling Green ranked last in both par-3 and par-4 scoring average.
The Falcons also led the entire field in both bogeys (74) and double bogeys (15), but still managed to play mistake-free golf on several longer holes.
Xavier claimed the team title at 832 (-20), followed by Illinois (-17) and Missouri (-16).
Bowling Green concludes its fall schedule and will return to competition in spring 2026 for the remainder of the collegiate golf season.
