BGSU men’s golf continued its spring season at the Savannah Intercollegiate hosted by JGW Golf, finishing 15th overall.
Freshman Pedro Garcia for the Orange and Brown tied for 17th after shooting a three-round total of 223 (seven over). Junior Angelo Luciani tied for 28th at 225 (nine over).
Throughout days two and three, the tournament was heavily impacted by wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour.

“Great to see Pedro snag another top 20 in a big field to start the semester,” head coach John Powers said. “Angelo had another solid performance as well. As a group, we’re still looking to handle all kinds of conditions better, which leads to more depth in our scoring week in and week out.”
The Falcons’ next stop will be in Southern Pines, North Carolina, for the Babygrande Ross Collegiate Classic for a three-day tournament. Beginning on Monday, March 9, and concluding on Wednesday, March 11.
