BGSU women’s track and field continue to perform their bests, with the field events being the only ones to compete at the Silverston Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Grace Bradtmueller made an impressive end to the regular season, with a third-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 16.52m.
Continuing with top finishes, Sydney Williams placed fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 13.84m. Sierra Podolan and Emma Hoffman also placed 10th and 11th, respectively, with throws of 13.03m and 12.64m.
Sierra Brinson creates a new personal record with a shot-put throw of 14.94m, putting her in second place. On top of the silver, this also puts her ranked No. 147 nationally for D1 women’s shot put throwers, while only being a sophomore.
Also placing top 10 in the shot put are Lily Tomasheski and Jenna Lucas, placing seventh and ninth, respectively. It was a tough competition between the two, with Tomasheski throwing 12.96m and Lucas throwing 12.51m.
The Falcons will now prepare for the 2026 MAC Indoor Championship on Feb. 27, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, where they will put on their best performances.
