BGSU baseball redshirt senior left-handed pitcher Ethan Stade has earned Mid-American Conference (MAC) Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Stade was previously named MAC Pitcher of the Week on March 9.
The 6-foot-4 starter struck out a career-high 14 batters against UMass Saturday, tied for the most in a single game by any MAC pitcher this season.
He pitched seven innings against the Minutemen, allowing three runs on just two hits, one walk and one hit by pitch.
In conference play, Stade is 2-2 in seven outings with one save. He has a 3.66 ERA with 63 strikeouts to 10 walks against MAC opponents.
Next, Stade and the Falcons will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to face the Wolverines on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
